Toscano Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar
In the quiet little town of Hastings on the Mornington Peninsula lies a not so quiet hotel and function centre.
Initially I was called in to assist with the renovations in each of the rooms, and then the major transformation of the function centre.
We ended up rendering the original red brick building using the colour Dulux Milton Moon and painting Dulux Lexicon Quarter on the trims and windows.
What we’re left with is a beautiful elegant space that is now busy year round.
The Bridge Hotel, Mordialloc
At the beginning of 2020 just as Covid 19 was looming upon us, the iconic Bridge Hotel in Mordialloc was chaining hands after 37 years. The new owners were excited to breathe into it a transformed and pleasant space for all who love it.
We worked together in updating the exterior, the function rooms, restaurants, bars, TAB and gaming room. Paint, flooring, tiles, carpets and furnishings were co-ordinated during lockdowns so that by the time Melbourne was open again, so was a brand new Bridge Hotel.
From a very tired old cream and green exterior, we transformed the facade with Dulux White on White and a gorgeous royal blue trim, making it look somewhat like a cruise liner. The interior spaces are still in renovation phases, but the overall outcome has been incredibly successful and praised by the local community.
